Simple analogy for those of us struggling with the concept. I've "immersed" myself in Twitter and FB on behalf of my co. The more I do it, the more response we get, followers we acquire and interaction has increased for us dramatically w/ our audience. I did try the tutorials out there but found trial & error works best.
